Arts & Culture Festival

By Olivia Browne and Bel Hathaway, Arts and Culture Committee Co-Ordinators, 14 July 2016

We have been delighted by everyone’s response to what must be our biggest Arts & Culture Festival yet.

The whole college has been involved, with acoustic music in the library, 3D modelling in Maths and stop-frame animation in the Physics Department , alongside excellent performances and exhibitions in areas such as Dance, Drama, Music, Graphics and Photography.

There was a catwalk fashion show on the concourse and the outside areas had a true festival vibe, as the sun shone down upon everything from West African drumming to sun prints, henna stalls and street food – all to the accompaniment of a Storm Radio outside broadcast

Well done to the Arts and Culture Committees and many of the college teaching departments for all of their hard work.
