On 6th July students from the Law department had an opportunity to put their AS Law studies into action. They participated in a mock trial based on a real life double murder case set in Jersey, taking on the roles including defence and prosecution barristers and solicitors, witnesses, court staff and a jury. They did a great job and the atmosphere was one of professionalism and friendly competition.
This event, organised by law teachers Sally Fox and Jim Shaw, offered a brilliant opportunity for students thinking of following a career path in law to test out their skills and improve their CVs or UCAS applications. It was also an excellent fun event to reward the students, who have worked hard all year for their exams. Well done to all involved!
