Biology Conference

Fifty Biology students attended the Essex University Biology Conference on Tuesday 22nd March. They had an insightful day hearing from lecturers about human blindness, stem cells, synthetic biology and understanding genes. Students also had the opportunity to develop their practical skills in sessions ranging from DNA extraction, building your own bug, chromatography and the smell of the sea!
