Assistant Principal
Salary Approximately: £52,000 p.a.
An Assistant Principal post becomes vacant effective from 1 August 2012. The post offers the opportunity for a successful and committed teacher and manager, interested in all aspects of managing and leadership of a sixth form college, to join the Senior Management Executive Group at an ‘Outstanding’ Sixth Form College.

Full Time Teacher of AS/A2 Level Economics and Business Studies
Salary in a range up to £36,279 p.a.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post in the Economics and Business Studies Department. The successful applicant should ideally have a good honours degree in Economics or Business Studies, or a closely related subject. They should have good IT skills, and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. He/she must be able to contribute to the teaching of Economics at AS and A2 and to at least some of the Business Studies courses (Business Studies AS/A2, Applied Business AS/A2).

Full Time Teacher of AS/A2 Level Geography and Environmental Studies
Salary in a range up to £36,279 p.a.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post. The post involves contributing to the teaching of AS/A2 level Geography and AS/A2 Environmental Studies. The appointee may have the opportunity to contribute to the teaching of International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) Geography (Higher Level) and/or Environmental Systems (Standard Level). The post is open to new entrants to the profession as well as those with appropriate teaching experience. Full Time Teacher of AS/A2 Level Mathematics
Salary in a range up to £36,279 p.a.
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified teachers as well as those with experience of teaching. If a teaching qualification has not been achieved, it is expected that this would be undertaken on a two year part time basis locally commencing 2012/13 academic year, for which the College would offer some financial assistance. The College has strong induction and staff development programmes, including good arrangements for staff new to college and newly qualified staff. The Maths Department has a strong team working approach with a supportive ethos.
