NOTES  
The 2011/12 Academic Year is 194 days, not the usual 195, as an extra day's Bank Holiday has been determined by the Government re: The Queens Diamond Jubilee. A day (Wednesday 18 July) is given in lieu of the 5 June Bank Holiday which falls within Half term.
Staff Non-Student (Non-Teaching) Days:
- 2 days within Enrolment period 2011 (Tuesday 30 August - Monday 5 September)
- 3 days within the Summer Exam and Study Leave period 2012 (May/June 2012)
Autumn Term 2012/13 is likely to begin on Tuesday 28 August 2012, although if OFQUAL/JCQ determine a ‘draw forward’ AS/A2/GCSE results’ release dates in summer 2012 and thereafter by one week from their ‘historic positioning’ (which they have recently announced that they will still ‘consult about’), then Autumn Term 2012 would alternatively start on Monday 20 August 2012. The College will continue to lobby against this change.
