Storm Radio is Colchester 6th Form College’s student
radio station. It’s run for the students by the students.
The station broadcasts three times a day: Breakfast (8:30
am till 9am, Break (10:25am till 10:45) and Lunch
(1:25pm till 2:30pm).
The stations presenting and backroom staff is made up
of both first and second year overseen by an editorial
group (made up of the Editor, Assistant Editor and Heads
of Tech, Music and PR) of second years.
The station plays an electric mix of music almost entirely
dependant on good relationships with both local and
national music labels who supply the station with the
latest releases.
