Staff at the Sixth Form College have had much to distract them from England's World Cup performance over the last few days, being preoccupied with the equally competitive staff football tournament taking place much closer to home on the college Astroturf pitch. Six teams were pitted against each other across three days, with the blues in team two ultimately victorious, snatching a 2-1 victory from team three in a gripping final match. Booth, Crouch and Barraclough shared the honours of top goal scorer with 4 goals apiece - Booth managing to prove that Eric Cantona isn't the only player to combine football with philosophy.
