Student Awarded Gold Level Shakespeare Performance Certificate

Sixth Form College student George Boundy, has just been awarded a gold level Shakespeare Performance Certificate from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).
As teacher Nora Aveston explained: "These awards demand a very high standard of performance - We have worked closely with RADA for a long time, but haven't had a student gain an award at this level before".
George had to perform excerpts from Lear and The Merchant of Venice, as well as something from The Revenger's Tragedy. He is also directing his own adaptation of A Winter's Tale for the Shakespeare Schools Festival at the Lakeside Theatre.
