Last month the Charities Committee ran an event to raise money for a children's hospital in Zambia. As teacher Siobhan Cordy explained: "The hospital is run by the parents of one of our very own students and she has demonstrated to us that this hospital is in dire need of funds. Children who desperately in need serious medical help are being turned away because the hospital do not have enough money to help them - hence the Mad Hatters Tea Party.

Students and staff were asked to wear a hat (and give us a pound for the privilege). Some went all the way - dressing up as characters from Alice in Wonderland. The Refectory sold "Mad Hatter Biscuits" and helped us raise over five hundred pounds for a really good cause!"
