Sixth Form College Celebrates International Women's Week

Students at the Sixth Form College got involved in a range of activities earlier this month to celebrate Internation Women's Week, inlcuding welcoming a range of visiting speakers. Events culminated in a Feminism Panel Discussion on Friday 5th March with well over 120 students involved.
Panel members included Assistant Principal Faith Ressemeyer (Chair), Liz MacLean (Sociology/Citizenship), Beanie Rowe (Year 2 IB student), with visiting panellist including Nicci Gerrard (journalist and author), Sean French (journalist and author), Emily Taylor (MA Human Rights student at Essex University), and Selbi Jumayeva, MA Human Rights student and a vibrant feminist activist from Turkmenistan.
