Induction Days
Induction Day is a vital step in the preparation for Enrolment for both the students and the College.
Students get an opportunity to meet other students and their tutors and to attend sessions in each of their subjects and to check that these courses are still the right ones, or to make changes if necessary.
Induction helps to ease the inevitable concerns students and their parents will have about leaving school and joining a large and busy college.
Induction Days are 30 June and 1 July 2010.
We invite all prospective students to spend one day with us after their GCSE exams are finished.
Parents are invited to come in to an evening meeting to find out more about the College and maybe to clarify some of the key details on practical matters like transport costs or other student finance.
We require students to attend Induction so it is important that any holiday bookings avoid these dates.
